Spencer joined CPC in July 2026, bringing a background in principal investing and investment banking across natural resources, technology, media, and telecom. He supports CPC’s M&A and portfolio investment activity, partnering with Operating Company leadership on diligence, capital allocation, and strategic initiatives.
Previously, Spencer was a Vice President at TWG Global. Earlier, he was a Principal at Verus International, and he began his career at Goldman Sachs, most recently as an Investment Banking Associate in the Technology, Media & Telecom group.
Spencer holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, with a Specialization in Alternative Asset Management, and a Concentration in Oil and Gas, from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University. He enjoys playing tennis and traveling.
